A bookstore and coffee shop a block from VCU, open early enough for the before-work crowd and warm enough to stay through the afternoon. Come in, grab a table, and stay as long as you like.

Getting here
On foot from VCU
We're one block from the Monroe Park campus, on the north side of Cary Street. Look for the storefront with the book cart outside.
Parking
Metered street parking runs along Cary and the side streets behind us. Evenings and Sundays tend to open up quickly.
By bus or bike
GRTC routes run along Cary and Main, and there are bike racks out front. Ride in, lock up, stay a while.
Inside the café
Espresso, pour-over, chai, and pastries at the bar. Books and the banned book lending library on the shelves. The community board by the door, and rotating local art on the walls.
