The room is yours, if you will fill it.
A third place only works when the neighbors take it over. Bring your reading circle, your study group, your game night, your people. Tell us what you have in mind and we will find the night.
Seven kinds of evening we say yes to
Poetry reading
An open mic, a featured reader, or a circle of your own poets.
Quiet room, twenty minutes of readers, one microphone.
Study session
A standing hour for the same exam, the same language, the same craft.
Tables together, phones down, refills on the hour.
Support group
A closed circle that needs a warm, private corner of the shop.
The back room, held for you, with no walk-through traffic.
Book discussion
One title, one table, everyone with a different take.
We can order extra copies of your pick for the group.
Game night
Chess ladders, trivia tables, cards, anything with a score.
Long tables, late hours, snacks from the case.
Workshop
Teach something small and useful to eleven other people.
Front window, daylight, sign-up sheet if you want one.
Something else
If it fits in the room, we want to hear it.
Tell us what you have in mind and we will find the shape.
From your idea to the calendar
You propose
Fill in the form below with the shape of the gathering: the kind of room you need, the night you want, and who it is for.
We read it
A real person on staff reads every proposal, usually within three working days. We check the calendar, the space, and the fit.
It lands on the calendar
Accepted proposals become events on our public calendar, with your group's name on them and the room held for you.
Tell us about your gathering
Ten fields, most of them short. Nothing is booked yet. Every proposal comes to staff first, and you will hear back either way.
A few house rules: gatherings stay free to attend, we do not host outside sales or political campaigns, and the room is shared with regulars, so we keep sound at conversation level. Staff will always confirm the details with you before a date appears publicly.
